Efektivitas Representasi Visual dalam Meningkatkan Pengetahuan Konten Biologi Peserta Didik pada Topik Sistem Saraf Manusia
(The Effectiveness of Visual Representation in Enhancing Students' Knowledge of Biological Content on Human Nervous System Topic)

In this study, visual representation refers to the use of various forms of visual aids, such as graphs, tables, symbols, pictures, diagrams, and written descriptions, to present complex information. This study aims to determine the impact of using visual representations on factual and conceptual knowledge regarding the human nervous system. The research employed a quasi-experimental design with pretest and posttest. The research results showed a significant increase in factual and conceptual knowledge among students taught with visual representations compared to the control group.
Abstrak. Representasi visual yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini mengacu pada penggunaan berbagai bentuk alat bantu visual, seperti grafik, tabel, simbol, gambar, diagram, dan deskripsi tertulis, untuk menyajikan informasi yang kompleks.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan representasi visual terhadap pengetahuan faktual dan konseptual pada topik sistem saraf manusia. Penelitian menggunakan desain kuasi-eksperimen dengan pretest-posttest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan faktual dan konseptual pada siswa yang diajar dengan representasi visual dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol.
