Journal History

1.  Jurnal Cakrawala Akuntansi (JCA) obtained its print ISSN (P-ISSN) at the end of 2008, marking the beginning of its official publication in 2009. The journal was initially published biannually, in February and August. The inaugural issue, Volume 1, Number 1 (February 2009), published nine articles, followed by Volume 1, Number 2 (August 2009), which also contained nine articles.

2. Between 2010 and 2014, JCA successfully published Volumes 2 to 6; however, detailed records regarding the number of articles published during this period are not available.

3. From 2015 to 2022, JCA experienced a period of inactivity and did not release any publications corresponding to Volumes 7 to 14.

4. A significant revitalization effort took place in 2022, during which JCA integrated its publishing system with the Open Journal System (OJS) under the Jambi University Online Journal platform. This revitalization involved substantial improvements, including the enhancement of the journal’s visual layout, the adoption of English as the primary language of publication.

5. In 2023, JCA resumed publication with Volume 15, Number 1 (February 2023) and Volume 15, Number 2 (August 2023), each consisting of seven articles. During this period, the journal’s management structure was reorganized under the leadership of Drs. Iskandar Sam, S.E., Ak., M.Si., who assumed the position of Editor-in-Chief.

6. The publication schedule continued consistently in 2024, with Volume 16, Number 1 (February 2024) and Volume 16, Number 2 (August 2024), each containing seven articles.

7. In 2025, JCA maintained its regular publication cycle, issuing Volume 17, Number 1 (February 2025) and Volume 17, Number 2 (August 2025), both comprising seven articles.
