This study focuses on the illocutionary acts of Yemeni and Saudi Arabian netizens in the YouTube العربية comment section related to a video titled اَلسُّعُودِيَّةُ تُعْلِنُ دَعْمًا تَنْمَوِيًّا قِيمَتُهُ مِلْيَارٌ وَ 300 مِلْيُونِ رِيَالٍ لِلْيَمَنِ. The purpose of this study is to describe the form, type, and meaning of the utterances. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach and technique. The results found in the utterances were 5 assertive, 4 directive, 2 commissive, and 4 expressive.
Abstrak
Studi ini berfokus pada tindakan ilokusi netizen Yaman dan Arab Saudi di bagian komentar YouTube العربية terkait dengan video berjudul اَلسُّعُودِيَّةُ تُعْلِنُ دَعْمًا تَنْمَوِيًّا قِيمَتُهُ مِلْيَارٌ وَ 300 مِلْيُونِ رِيَالٍ لِلْيَمَنِ. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk, jenis, dan makna ucapan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan dan teknik deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil yang ditemukan dalam ucapan tersebut adalah 5 asertif, 4 direktif, 2 komisif, dan 4 ekspresif.
