Analisis Praanggapan dalam Serial Web Gadis Kretek : Kajian Pragmatik

Artikel ini membahas analisis praanggapan dalam serial web Gadis Kretek dengan pendekatan pragmatik berdasarkan teori George Yule. Praanggapan merupakan aspek penting dalam komunikasi karena menyiratkan informasi yang diasumsikan benar oleh penutur dan pendengar. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis praanggapan yang muncul dalam dialog serta menganalisis bagaimana penggunaannya berkontribusi terhadap pemahaman alur cerita dan pengembangan karakter. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik analisis isi terhadap dialog dalam serial Gadis Kretek. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa praanggapan eksistensial, faktual, leksikal, Nonfaktual, struktural, dan konterfaktual.
Abstract
This article examines presuppositions in the web series Gadis Kretek using a pragmatic approach based on George Yule’s theory. Presuppositions play a crucial role in communication as they imply information assumed to be true by both the speaker and the listener. This article aims to identify the types of presuppositions present in the dialogues and analyze how they contribute to understanding the storyline and character development. A qualitative descriptive method with content analysis techniques is applied to the dialogues in Gadis Kretek. The findings reveal that existential, factual, lexical, nonfactual, structural, and counterfactual.
