POLA PERTUMBUHAN DAN FAKTOR KONDISI IKAN SELUANG (Rasbora argyrotaenia) DI DANAU TELUK KENALI KOTA JAMBI

Danau Teluk Kenali adalah danau yang ada di Kota Jambi, berada di Kelurahan Teluk Kenali Kecamatan Telanaipura Kota Jambi dengan luas 30 Ha berkarakteristik dasar perairan danau seperti cekungan. Salah satu tangkapan nelayan di danau teluk kenali adalah ikan seluang karena banyak disukai masyarakat sekitar serta memiliki nilai ekonomi yang tinggi. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling yaitu dengan pengamatan data ikan secara langsung. Sampel diambil dari hasil tangkapan nelayan menggunakan alat tangkap gillnet berukuran 1 inci, dari 2 nelayan sebanyak 10% dari keseluruhan atau semua hasil tangkapan nelayan selama 1 bulan penelitian. Dari hasil penelitian di dapatkan bahwa ikan seluang jantan memiliki panjang rata-rata 8,6 cm dan rata-rata bobot 4,9 gram, hasil analisa hubungan panjang bobot didapatkan nilai b sebesar 2,88 nilai regresi r = 0,91 dan faktor kondisi nilai hasil (K) 1,75 artinya kondisi tubuh kurang pipih. Untuk ikan seluang betina memiliki panjang rata-rata 9,04 cm Bobot 6,26 gram hasil analisa hubungan panjang bobot didapatkan nilai b sebesar 0,94 regresi 0,18 dan faktor kondisi nilai hasil (K) 1,99 artinya kondisi tubuh kurang pipih. Disimpulkan bahwa pola pertumbuhan ikan seluang jantan dan betina bersifat allometik negatif (b<3) yang artinya pertumbuhan panjang lebih dominan daripada bobot.
