Article Processing Charge (APC) Policy – Chempublish Journal

Irrespective of the publishing model chosen by the author, our goal is to ensure that articles are published as quickly as possible—subject to appropriate quality controls—and are widely disseminated. Authors are required to make an upfront payment to cover publication costs after the Chempublish Journal Editorial Board has decided to accept the manuscript for publication.

Adjustments to the Chempublish Journal Prices (CJP) are reviewed regularly and are subject to change. We determine CJP based on the following criteria, which are applicable only to open access articles:

  • Journal indexing status

  • Editorial and technical processing costs

  • Competitive landscape

  • Market conditions

  • Other potential revenue sources associated with the journal

The CJP charges the following author fees:

  • Article Submission: IDR 0.00

  • Article Publication (APC): IDR 750,000 (approximately 49 USD)

A waiver may be granted for high-quality articles submitted by authors from low-income countries who do not have access to research funding. Authors requesting a waiver must clearly state this in the Author Comments box during submission. The waiver decision is made solely by the Editor and will not affect the peer review outcome.
