Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kepentingan Tiongkok melalui strategi Made in China 2025 (MIC2025) khususnya dalam investasi industri kendaraan listrik di indonesia melalui sudut pandang teori liberalisme dan konsep keunggulan komparatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif yang terdiri dari data sekunder dan dikumpulkan melalui tinjauan literatur. MIC2025 menjadi salah satu inisiatif milik Tiongkok yang dirancang untuk menghadapi berbagai peluang maupun tantangan di tengah Revolusi Industri 4.0. Industri kendaraan listrik sendiri merupakan salah satu dari sepuluh sektor manufaktur berteknologi tinggi yang ingin dicapai oleh Tiongkok. Dengan analisis menggunakan sudut pandang teori liberalisme dan konsep keunggulan komparatif, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa investasi perusahaan swasta Tiongkok di Indonesia mampu menjadi strategi yang tepat untuk mencapai target jangka pendek hingga panjang dalam merealisasikan Chinese Dream. Terlebih melihat bahwa Indonesia merupakan produsen nikel terbesar di dunia, membuat Tiongkok dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dalam produksi komponen kendaraan listrik dengan berinvestasi secara langsung. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan Tiongkok berhasil mewujudkan kepemimpinannya dalam manufaktur kendaraan listrik sesuai dengan salah satu parameter Made in China 2025 yaitu menjadi innovator of the world.
