Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat Jurusan Keperawatan is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that focuses on the dissemination of community service activities and the application of nursing science to improve public health and well-being. This journal serves as a medium for academics, practitioners, and healthcare professionals to share innovative community engagement initiatives and nursing interventions that address various health challenges in society.
The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to: community empowerment in health, health education, disease prevention, maternal and child health, elderly care, home visit programs, school health initiatives, health promotion based on local wisdom, and the application of nursing theories and models in real-world community settings. Contributions that integrate nursing knowledge with interdisciplinary approaches in solving community health problems are highly encouraged.
Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat Jurusan Keperawatan welcomes a wide range of scholarly works including case studies, community health intervention reports, action research, and best practices in community-based nursing. Articles should demonstrate measurable impact on the community and reflect ethical, culturally sensitive, and sustainable approaches to public health service.
This journal is published by Jurusan Keperawatan, committed to promoting community-based nursing practices and the development of innovative health solutions. It is published twice a year in June and December and is an open-access journal, allowing readers to freely access, download, and distribute its content for educational and non-commercial purposes without prior permission from the publisher or author.
Focus and Scope
Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat Jurusan Keperawatan memfokuskan The Journal of Community Service of the Nursing Department focuses on the development and application of science and technology in the field of nursing and related health professions. The scope of this journal covers various aspects of community service, including human resource development in the field of nursing and health, community empowerment in the field of nursing and health, rural health development, health promotion, and the application of technology and business in nursing and health practices. This journal aims to be a forum for academics, practitioners, and health workers in disseminating the results of community service activities that are innovative, applicable, and have a real impact on improving the quality of life of the community.
Articles Section
Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to this journal must follow Focus and Scope and Author Guidelines of this journal. The submitted manuscripts must fulfill scientific merit or novelty appropriate to the focus and scope of this journal. All manuscripts submitted to this journal must be written in good English. Authors for whom English is not their native language are encouraged to have their paper checked before submission for grammar and clarity. The work must not have been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.
All submitted manuscripts must be free from plagiarism content. All authors are suggested to use plagiarism detection software to do the similarity checking (please use Turnitin or iThenticate to check the similarity). Editors will also check the similarity of manuscripts in this journal by using a Turnitin or iThenticate software. The submitted manuscripts to this journal will be peer-reviewed at least 2 (two) or more expert reviewers. The reviewers give scientific valuable comments improving the contents of the manuscript. Sometimes (if required) a third peer-reviewer is needed to give critical comments to the submitted manuscript. The review process used in this journal is a double-blind review system.
The final decision of manuscript acceptance is solely made by Editor in Chief/Regional (Handling) Editor (together with Editorial Board if required) according to reviewers' critical comments. The final decision of the manuscript is solely based on the Editor's final review which considering peer-reviewers comments (but not solely by Reviewer). Publication of accepted articles including assigning the article to the published issues will be made by Editor in Chief by considering the sequence of accepted date and geographical distribution of authors as well as a thematic issue.

This journal is published 2 (two) times a year (June and December).

- Article processing fee (APC) / Article Publication Fee: if your manuscript is accepted for publication, we will send you an email for further processing.
